UG: Students warned against hosting opposite sex minutes before midnight

Students residing in the University of Ghana Enterprise Limited (UGEL) Halls have been warned against hosting visitors of the opposite sex in their rooms beyond 11:30 pm.

Students who fail to comply with this risk being expelled from the hall.

An agreement form has been issued to students and they are expected to sign it to signify their willingness to comply.

UniversNews understands that this is not so much of a usual practice in the UGEL halls.

Per university rules, students are not to host visitors after midnight.

Already, the university has warned residential students against hosting visitors in their rooms.

The directive is contained in the university’s Covid-19 guidelines laid down to curb the spread of the coronavirus among members of the university community.
